This series comprises publications pertaining to foreign mission work and the United Lutheran Church in America's (ULCA) Board of Foreign Missions (BFM) involvement in that work. Most of the pamphlets appear to have been created from 1920-1960, but some are undated. These materials were used in promotional and educational efforts of the BFM and include general pamphlets about the work of the BFM in addition to pamphlets pertaining to specific mission topics. There are also examples of BFM general handbooks, missionary handbooks, and study program series booklets. In addition to BFM-produced literature, there are pamphlets, leaflets, and booklets produced either by the Women's Missionary Society of the ULCA, or by a non-ULCA church or organization. Also included is an undated copy of Luther B. Wolf's manuscript for History of the American Lutheran Foreign Missions, 1835-1935. Duplicates were removed.
